Re: dbexport

Here are the steps to be followed if you want to perform a *dbexport* on
a secondary sever.

1/ Make sure that a dbspace of type TEMP is available

* before doing a dbexport , you have to have a TEMP dbspace

2/ Make sure the secondary server is RSS or make it RSS if you are in
HDR secondary mode

3/ Stop APPLY in order not apply the logs

* onmode -wm LOG_STAGING_DIR=$INFORMIXDIR/tmp

* onmode -wm STOP_APPLY=1

4/ Perform your dbexport on the RSS secondary

* dbexport -d <database name>

5/ Apply the logs

* onmode -wm STOP_APPLY=0

6/ Wait until the secondary has caught up with the primary and make it
HDR secondary if that is what you want

* onmode -d secondary <name of the primary instance>
