In Response To: RE: Upgrade question (Tim Ertl)

Sounds like you don't have, or at least are not using, GNU Make. The
makefile has to be edited to work with std UNIX make. On line 71 or so
there's a conditional block like:

ifeq ($(ESQL),c4gl)

cpp -DC4GL_720_COMPILER=1 $? >$@_4gl.ec

INFORMIXC=$(INFORMIXC) $(ESQL) $(ECFLAGS) -o $@ $@_4gl.ec

rm $@_4gl.ec
else

INFORMIXC=$(INFORMIXC) $(ESQL) $(ECFLAGS) -o $@ $?
endif

Just remove everything except the line immediately above the endif (or use
GNU Make). You'll have to edit the myschema makefile also and make the same
change there. That's the file myschema.mk.norcs in the myschema.d
subdirectory.

Oh, unless the update went in today (I uploaded it a week ago but it wasn't
there as of yesterday), the copy you have may have a compile time bug in the
file myschema.d/print_procedures.ec. Updated version is attached, just
replace the one you have with this new one.
