DR: Cannot connect to primary server

Morning everyone,

This HDR is driving me nuts. I'm running IDS version 9.40.UC5X3 on both servers. Replication worked before we moved the secondary server. Once I got both my servers up and running and seeing each other, I performed the following steps. Am I missing something???

1. dbaccess from both servers can login and see DB on other server.
2. Stopped all backups on primary server
3. Ran ontape -s -L 0
4. Put tape on secondary server
5. Ran ontape -p (Answered no to backup logs and level 1)
6. On secondary server I execute: onmode –d secondary aimprd01 (Where aimprd01 is the name of my primary server)

When I do this I get the following entries in my online log:

08:41:12 DR: Trying to connect to primary server = aimprd01
08:41:12 DR: Cannot connect to primary server
08:41:12 DR: Turned off on secondary server

When I run onmode -d primary sci01 on aimprd01 I get similar messages in my online log:

09:04:42 Maximum server connections 136
09:17:34 DR: Primary to Primary
09:17:34 DR: new type = primary, secondary server name = sci01
09:17:34 DR: Cannot connect to secondary server
09:17:34 DR: Turned off on primary server

And now when I bring my secondary server fully online I can not access it from my primary server via dbaccess. This is the list of servers can see:

aimprd01prdshm
aimprd01prdtcp
aimprd01pritcp
demo_on
demo_se
sci01sectcp

I chose the sci01sectcp server and tried to login, and recieved the following error:

25539: Invalid connection-type.

This is my $INFORMIXSQLHOSTS file on the primary:

aimprd01prdtcp onsoctcp aimprd01 sapinfPRD
aimprd01pritcp onsoctcp aimprd01 sapinfPRI s=6
