Yes, looks like the current primary drive is going south quickly. Do the chunk
swap with the mirror and get rid of that spindle. Then I recommend onchecking
the indexes again and if they are bad, you'll just have to rebuild them. Why do
you say you cannot drop the indexes? Dropping and recreating the index that's
damaged is probably faster then performing the restore.

Oncheck couldn't be applied, asking me to drop and rebuild the indexes
of this table. But I can't drop the index, so I make a full backup and
restore to overcome this problem.
It works for two or three weeks and error come again.
I exported the table and imported it with no progress.
I applied mirroring on the mentioned dbspace and trying to replace the
original one with its mirror.
That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Please advise.

Note, if the error was a soft error, ie damaged data rather than a
hardware
problem with the drive, the bad data will have been replicated exactly
on the
mirror.

Hello dears,

I initiated a mirror for one of my important dbspaces.

The Original one produces an error in page from week to another.

So, I created a mirror from it and I want to replace the Primary dbspace

with its Mirror to get rid from the original one.

Can I? , or I have to put the primary down and then delete its file ,
retouch it , recover it from its mirror, and then stop mirroring.
