VPCLASS entries in onconfig when adding logs

Posted By: JOHAN OESTERLIN
Date: Friday, 5 March 2004, at 11:31 a.m.

Hi, I've got a strange problem.

IDS 9.30 UC1 (or UC2) on Solaris 8

I install IDS (using ids_install) and creates an instance. Add a new dbs for logs. I move the physical logs to this dbs, restarts.
Everything is fine.
I then add a logical log: onparams -a -d logdbs
.. but additional entries with VPCLASS gets appended to onconfig!!

Two per existing logical log. When I try to add another logical log, ofcourse I get a Warning.

I can delete the appended lines in onconfig and create another logical log, but a DB with this behaviour is nothing I like to put into production.

Please advice!! Brg / Johan
