Dostats is included in the package called utils2_ak Ernest. It is, as stated, ESQL/C. There is dostats.ec (for Informix versions earlier than
10.00) and dostats_ng.ec (which is for 10.00 and later and is compiled by default by the makefile). The package also contains drive_dostats a shell script that can divide your database into multiple sets of tables for dostats to update in parallel. Download it now, though the Dec. 27 update has some new features and a fix or two over that one (mostly for ANSI mode databases), so may want to get the update in a week or so when it has been installed.
