Or at least the link should have 777 permissions set. Root ownership of the
link isn't a problem as IDS does follow the link to the actual chunk
permissions & ownerships if it can, but I suspect that with 755 permissions
on the link and 770 on the underlying chunk IDS will balk. Missed that.
