Interesting......

What value is used for CLOB or BLOB columns? Are those the same as TEXT
and BYTE respectively? I can't find those data types in any of the header
files or this file or anywhere else.

Check procedure ansicoltype in xpg4_is.sql located at $INFORMIXDIR/etc...
