It does not have much to do with the version of the engine itself, product
can be installed in a different location form the engine, and the engine
connects to the gateway through server definitions in sqlhosts. It worked
fine on 7.31's, 9.4's and 10's. I have not messed with IDS 11 yet.

I don't know much about sqlserver and going the other way, You could
probably look into their SQL Server Management Studio ???

Hi VakeelPlease, could you tell me what versions of IDS can connect to
SQLServer using EGM ?
Do you know any tool or product that - connected in SQLServer (2000 or
2005)
can access IDS db to select data in its tables ?
