Subject: Memory Utilisation goin to 99 % in Informix [10047]

Hi ,

This is Mohan from LogicaCMG,Bangalore working in Reliability
Engineering Team. I was referred to you by Mukesh Rijhwani.

We have a problem with Informix 10FC5 on a Linux Setup. There are two
Applications and Database(4 cpus) server. We find that the memory usage
on the Database server is reaching out 99%.

The memory size is 8GB and the virtual memory is set to 7GB,but still
we find that the memory utilization reaches 99%.We have the same setup
and patch level with HP-UX and we find that the memory utilization on
Informix reaches only 75%.

I will now attach the Onconfig file in this system. Please let me know
if you require further details on the server.

Thanks
Mohan
