Dear friends, Times for me are tough lately. Nothing to do with Informix. Informix is being positioned in the Internet Of Things and the Cloud. We shall see how it goes but I'm still optimistic. The IIUG Board is exploring places for the 2015 conference. There are many things to consider, but I hope you will like our choice and more important I hope you will all come. Multitenancy in Informix As of IBM Informix 12.10.xC4, you can deploy an Informix server that supports multiple tenants. A tenant is a set of users in a client organization that needs to access the same data and system resources. You create a dedicated tenant database, and assign storage and processing resources for that database based on the service-level agreements with the client organization. For example, you can provide services to multiple companies that run efficiently in a single Informix instance.
